On the heels of National Poetry Month is May — which means Mother’s Day is right around the corner.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful book to share with the moms in your life, I put together a short list of favorite poetry collections I’ve read (or am reading) that might be just what you're looking for.
While these books would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift, they also work just as well for birthdays, celebrations, or those “just because” moments.
I have found poetry books especially approachable lately because they are easy to pick up and put down. You can read as much or as little as you have time (and brain space) for, and reading poetry just feels like a treat — maybe because it adds some extra beauty to the day.
You can find all of these books at Bookshop.org on this list, with the exception of And The Garden is Me, which you can find here.
